Star Wars Legos were an amazing addion to the Lego line when they were introduced several year ago. In addition to Star Wars Legos, Lego building toys are arguably the greatest building toys of all time. There's just nothing bad you can say about Lego. The Lego company has consistently offered a huge selection of both simple and complex building toys that just never get old. The Lego brand is here to stay. And Lego continues to be the number one name in building toys. Lego designers constantly come out with new and interesting sets and concepts that push the limits of what we think of as mere "toys." But, the folks at Lego also have simple, classic sets that are good for any age group. Star Wars Legos are no exception.
The Lego StoryThe LEGO Company was founded in 1932 in Billund, Denmark, by master carpenter Ole Kirk Christiansen. Since 1958, Lego has introduced new shapes and colors, with approximately 2,000 distinct elements now in the Lego System of Play. Today, the Lego assortment ranges from toys for babies as young as 3 months, up to complex robotics sets that challenge even the biggest kids, including parents. The word LEGO is a contraction of two Danish words, "Leg" and "Godt," meaning "play well" in Danish. Imagination is inherent to Lego play. A space ship can be transformed the next day into a race car or a castle. It's the limitless play that makes playing with Lego bricks so much fun.
